Grace to Persevere

“Through many dangers, toils and snares we have already come. T'was grace that brought us safe thus far and grace will lead us home, and grace will lead us home.”

Emily raised her support to go with YFC, but three weeks before she was to go, she was in a tragic car accident where three other prospective missionaries were killed. Emily broke her neck but was not paralyzed. She recovered, but the delay lasted two years. She finally went to Botswana in 2010 and has had an amazing ministry ever since. For reasons she will explain, she changed her name to “Ember.” She shares about several other incidents that could have ended in tragedy, but through the Grace of God and her faith she has persevered. She knows God has truly given her the “gift of life” and that God is not finished with her yet. Family, I want to encourage each of you to join us this Sunday as I share and interview a fellow missionary who understands what it means to have the grace to persevere. Please, you don’t want to miss this. I truly hope to see you all this Sunday.

Love you all,

Pastor Michael
