Matthew 6:33 & 34 tell us to “seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.” So, as we see it tells us not to worry about tomorrow, but it doesn’t say not to think about tomorrow. In fact if we look at scripture we see in many places that we are supposed to spend today sowing for tomorrow and beyond. Christ himself walked on this earth with the focus of eternity. His whole purpose was to invest himself now, so that we would have a secure tomorrow and beyond. This principle is known to us as discipleship. This Sunday we are going to take a closer look at how we as Gateway Christians are called to live now and invest now so that the Kingdom of God will advance tomorrow and beyond. I pray you will join me this Sunday as we dig deeper into this simple but important concept.
