I have been spending quite a bit of time thinking about discipleship and the true picture of discipleship. Bible studies and classes are good things but when I really look at scripture and study Jesus’ model of discipleship there is one word that comes to my mind, “Investment”. We are reforming a team of people to oversee and help with the ministry to correctional officers. This would include events like the Harvest Festivals and giving out cooler bags during Christmas. If you have a passion for the correctional officer and their families, or are good at logistics and planning, we would love to have you! Contact the church office if interested.
If you are a church member, please pick up your church directory at the welcome desk after church on Sunday or by contacting the church office.
